Baby's BlessingWay 9-24-06

This past Sunday, some of my girlfriends surprised me with a BlessingWay for the baby. It was the anti baby shower...and it was beautiful. It was earthy and spiritual, thoughtful and moving. There were foot baths/massages, readings, blessings, lullabyes, jewelry-making with wishes for the baby and our family, food, fun and lots of laughter. Madison and I had a great time. Thanks to Jillian, Jane, Treen, Janeen, Kelly, Kelly, and Dorian for making the celebration so personal and intimate. I'll never forget it.
